  1. What year(s) did you work for BIGFOOT?

    • 1992-1994

  2. Which BIGFOOT truck did you drive?

    • I almost always drove #4, but have driven #1, 8, 9, 10 and Fastrax.

  3. What was your favorite BIGFOOT?

    • #1, just because it is #1.

  4. What was the highlight of your career?

    • I did race as a Snake Bite driver at the Pontiac Silverdome with all the top trucks and won freestyle.  I didn’t roll the truck, but it did take 4 hours to load it into the trailer.

  5. Is there anything you wish you could have done in your driving career?

    • I wish I would have taken advantage of the trips to different countries that, at the time, I had no interest.

  6. Is there a particular truck in today’s fleet you wish you could drive?

    • #21, so I could see the difference in technology after not driving in 20 years.

  7. What do/don’t you miss about being a BIGFOOT driver?

    • I do miss the fans, friends and the adrenaline rush.  I don’t miss the traveling.

  8. Any advice you would give a rookie?

    • Stay humble.  The fans pay your paycheck.  If you have to sign autographs for 4 hours, so be it.  Learn everything you can.  This is an opportunity that most only dream of and you may never get the opportunity again.

  9. What do you do for a living?

    • I drive a truck locally for one of the country’s largest industrial scrap companies.

  10. What have you been doing since you left BIGFOOT?

    • After being on the road for so many years and going back to normal life, it didn’t take long for boredom to set in, so I joined my local volunteer fire department.  I was an active member for 17 years, many of which I was a  training officer.  Also, my wife Jill and I owned and operated a very successful small-town restaurant that we recently sold to spend more time with our kids.

  11. What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

    • My wife of 26 years and I spend time with our kids, Andy 16 and Kaylee 13.  Andy has been a gear-head since he was a baby.  He’s owned a lifted ’71 Chevy 4×4 since he was 8 and was also a huge help on my frame-off restoration on a ’67 Chevelle SS.  Kaylee keeps me busy also as I coach her rec league softball team and also help on her travel softball team that she pitches on.

  12. Anything you want to add?

    • How I ended up at BIGFOOT, I started with the truck Nitemare from its inception.  After doing shows with the BIGFOOT crew all those years, I became good friends with them.  After the Nitemare truck was sold, Jim Kramer called me about a job and the rest is history.  I’m very happy having a normal life now, but I’m thankful to have had the opportunity to go and do all the things I’ve done and all the friends I’ve made over the years.
