November 29, 2017 (Camp Fuji, Japan) – BIGFOOT VP Dan Runte and driver Larry Swim are with Summit Racing Equipment and Armed Forces Entertainment visiting the troops at various location in Japan this year, for Operation Appreciation 2017.  Here are some of the first images to come back from the trip.

For day 2 of Operation Appreciation 2017 the guys went to Yokota Air Force Base, AFN Tokyo for a radio interview that was broadcast across all bases in the Greater Tokyo area, the Civil Engineering squadron, then the Med squadron at the hospital, and finished the day with a special and unexpected trip out to the flight line, where they were able to see a brand new C-130 airplane up close courtesy of the 36th Airlift Squadron/374th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron.

On Day 3 of Operation Appreciation 2017, the team ventured to Camp Fuji, a Marine base which sits at the foot of Mt. Fuji. After that, we went to EOD and were briefed by Gunnery Sgt. Hill. We learned all about explosives and Larry got to put on the bomb suit. It weighs over 100 pounds, but he handled it like a pro.

Stay tuned for more updates on Operation Appreciation 2017!
