June 13, 2020 (Pacific, MO) – We would like to welcome everyone to the unveiling of the PACIFIC BIGFOOT® Monster truck at Noon on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at the all-new BIGFOOT PLAZA located right next to City Hall at 300 N. Hoven Lane, Pacific MO. 63069.
“We are so proud to call Pacific home!” said Ann Trent, President and CEO of BIGFOOT 4X4, Inc. “We believe the truck being parked right next to I-44 will bring people into our town!”
“And hopefully they’ll stay awhile and visit some of the great local businesses! We give our heartfelt THANKS to Pacific for making this concept a reality – it is really very humbling,” added Bob Trent, Vice President and COO.
“I was thrilled when BIGFOOT decided to partner with the city to build this monument to the icon of the Monster Truck industry that now calls Pacific home. We have been more than a year on the planning. The Bigfoot Plaza will be seen by more than 56,000 drivers and their passengers each day along I-44 and it will leave no doubt that Pacific Missouri is the Home of BIGFOOT!” exclaimed Mayor Steve Myers, who then added “Thank you to the Pacific Tourism Commission and the Board of Aldermen for their vision and for their valuable assistance in making this happen. To our City Administrator Steve Roth for leading the project, DG2 Design for their consultation and design, K.J. Unnerstall Construction, and to BIGFOOT and the Chandler family for investing in the future of Pacific and the surrounding community. To them I say ‘WELCOME HOME!’”
When asked his thoughts, Bob Chandler had this to say, “The people of the City of Pacific have been extremely gracious and welcoming to us, even before we moved here. And this Plaza is going to be great!”
